Age Up With Students
Blockly Pro connects to our physical Dash robot and enables middle school students to tackle more advanced challenges while they toggle between Block-based and JavaScript code.
Blockly Pro Pathways
Blockly Pro Coding Pathways lessons are assignable to students from a teacher’s Make Wonder account and introduce students in grades 6-8 to advanced coding concepts like variables and functions. Students work through the challenges in a sequential order and teachers can track their progress, view suggested solutions, and their work, all from the Make Wonder tracking dashboard.
Dozens of Challenges
Students have the option to work through Coding Pathways challenges that are assigned to them (up to 23, multi-part challenges in all), or experiment with their own programs in the free play mode. They will learn topics such as conditionals, functions and variables using the Javascript coding language and can even power Dash’s accessories, like Gripper, Launcher, and Sketch Kit.
