Wonder League Robotics Competition

Coding is the new team sport for future tech leaders and innovators. Gather teams of kids ages 6-8, 9-11, and 12-14, to join a global community of competitors, poised to learn and demonstrate 21st-century skills.

Wonder Workshop’s Dash and the characters from the beloved Cartoon Network series, Craig of the Creek, will guide students through a set of engaging missions in Craig’s world!

Why the Wonder League?

No travel required: It’s a virtual competition! Teams complete missions at their own pace and submit results via our online portal.

Our robots come assembled for out-of-the box fun:
Students get started right away with coding their strategies. For kids who love to tinker, we offer additional accessories with assembly required.

Dash is joining new friends from Cartoon Network’s Craig of the Creek!
This year, we’re partnering with Cartoon Network to bring even more humor, heart, and creativity to the competition.

It’s free to enter:

The origins

The Wonder League Robotics Competition started in 2015 and has now reached more than 78,000 kids over the last four years. This growing network of coding and robotics teams uses our all-inclusive program to inspire an early love of coding, computer science, tangible learning, and STEAM education.

Through a series of story-based missions, the teams develop problem-solving, growth mindset, and creativity skills while learning to code. Three years ago, we invited international teams to participate and continue to see an ever-growing international presence making the Wonder League a truly global competition.

Through the competition, our daughter and her teammates surfaced tremendous creative problem - solving ideas, inventiveness and persistence - critical lifelong skills. What started as a robotics project for a small group of girls grew into a remarkable story for learning and perseverance that excited our entire community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can compete?

Any kid, anywhere in the world, ages 6-14 as of 12/31/19, can participate. There are three age brackets: 6-8, 9-11, and 12-14. Kids must be the qualifying age for their bracket on the last day in 2019, when registration closes.

What makes a team?

A team is made up of a supervising adult coach and one or more children. That’s right, kids can compete solo but will need a coach who is 18+ to help with the submission process! For multi-kid teams, each member must be in the same age bracket. Coaches may have multiple teams within the same registration form.
