The History of Dash
In het voorjaar van 2013 waren de oprichters van Wonder Workshop op een missie om een leer-coderobot te maken die alle basisschoolleerlingen zou aanspreken. In een vroeg prototype verstopten ze de wielen van Dash om hem minder als een auto en meer als een vriendelijke robot te laten aanvoelen.
De kleur was ook belangrijk om de robots toegankelijk te maken voor alle kinderen. Blauw is weliswaar een primaire kleur, maar wist je dat er 76 tinten en meer dan 300 schakeringen blauw zijn?
In september 2013 werd het eerste echte prototype van Dash gebouwd. Daarom vieren we de verjaardag van Dash op 13 september!
Met het prototype in de hand begon Wonder Workshop in januari 2014 aan onze eerste productierun. We moesten materialen en onderdelen vinden en de juiste partner om onze visie tot leven te brengen.
