We’ve created programs for each letter so that your students can save these projects to their My Projects folders, understand how the code works, and then watch Dash trace out the letters using Sketch Kit.

Lunar New Year is celebrated in many east Asian countries including China, South Korea, and Vietnam. The Lunar New Year usually falls between January 21 and February 20. This year, Lunar New Year is on February 12. A lunar year is 12 full cycles of the Moon, which is a little less than a solar year. In some years, an extra lunar cycle is added to keep in sync with the solar year.
The Chinese Zodiac is a 12-year cycle, with each year being represented by an animal and its reputed attributes. On February 12, it is the start of the Year of the Ox. People born in the Year of the Ox are said to be strong, reliable, fair and conscientious, and confidence-inspiring. They are also known to be calm, patient, methodical, and trustworthy.They can be stubborn and don’t like to fail or be challenged.* Can you identify these traits in someone you know born in a Year of the Ox?
